In the spring of 1906 C.G. Mannerheim accepts a mission from the Russian General Staff and rides across Central Asia to Beijing as the final goal. "Across Asia on Horseback" CD-ROM has 1.000 photographs taken by Mannerheim and about 300 pages of his diary dramatised into an interactive record of the journey with QTVR-images and sounds. Experience the two years journey across the fascinating Orient, covering 14.000 kilometres, through the authentic adventures of the diary and photographs restored from the original negatives.
