Prix Möbius Nordica - background Prix Möbius was created in France in 1992, initiated by Paris 8th University. The competition became international in 1998, and in 2003 already 11 countries participated.
The jury may also give the following awards: Finland was invited to the competition in 2000 as the first Nordic country. A wide international interest exists for Finnish content production, especially network (Internet and wireless) expertise, but due to insufficient distribution and marketing the Finnish productions are not well known. The purpose of the competition is to encourage new media content production and constantly raise the quality of products in this sector. The competition offers an excellent opportunity to deliver information about the productions as well as advance their international distribution.
