FINALISTS OF PRIX MÖBIUS NORDICA HAVE BEEN SELECTED

The finalists will present their works at a fast paced pitching event on Friday, April 28th, 2006 (12am) at Media Centre Lume of the University of Art and Design, Helsinki. The Jury will pronounce the winners of the Prizes the same evening. The event is free, and open to the public: welcome!

This year, we will celebrate the competitions 10th anniversary with a special programme of internationally awarded finnish productions 1996-2005. The 2006 finalists are:

Cross Wide Out is a poetic DVD installation in four segments, depicting the lighthouses of the coast of Norway, and their surroundings.

The aim of the product is to tell why The Continuation War was fought, what the objectives of Finland and Soviet Union were, what really happened at the decisive battles, and how Finland survived as an independent country.
