Prix Möbius Finlande 2001 took place
on April 27, 2001 at the KIASMA Theatre
The zapping event presented the best Finnish new media works and productions,
of which the jury did choose those who then continued to the final
competition for Prix
Möbius International.
The final competition was held in November 2001 in Beijing, China,
hosted by the University of Beijing.
The Finnish participants got two prizes:
WSOY's Winter in the Moomin Valley, CD ROM got the PRIX MÖBIUS CRÉATION and
Tuomo Tammenpää's NEED, www.needweb.org, got the Mention Spéciale du Jury.
The Finnish organizers of the competition were Media Culture Center m-Cult
ry and Medeia Ltd.
