| PRIX MOBIUS FINLANDE 2000 (PMF) The first Prix Möbius Finlande was organized on February 22, 2000 at 9am to 5pm at the KIASMA theatre. The event was open to public. The designers and producers presented 14 different productions. The presentation was a success as well for the professionals as those interested in the field, since it presented a survey of the best productions in the field. Around 150-200 professionals were present, and e.g. the TV news gave the competition a good deal of broadcasting time. There are no similar annual international competitions in Finland. To the final competition in the Pompidou Centre in Paris the critical Finnish jury chose only one work: the CD-ROM produced by Fšrsti-Film, Across Asia on Horseback. Before the Finnish preliminary competition, the SOB
CD-ROM (produced by Medeia, directed by Marita Liulia) received the La
Mention Speciale du Jury award in the Le Prix Möbius Fiction category.
